• Cooking in the Kitchen: Math and science come alive when you're measuring ingredients and following recipes. Let your child be your sous chef and explore fractions, conversions, and the science behind cooking.
  

• History Comes Alive: Visit virtual museums like the Smithsonian or explore historical sites through 360° tours available online. Encourage research and discussions to solidify information.
  

• Nature's Classroom: Take your learning outdoors! Identify plants and animals with apps like iNaturalist, track weather patterns with online weather tracking tools, or set up a backyard stargazing session with the help of virtual star charts.

Keep Reading Alive:

• Summer Reading Challenge: Set a reading goal for the summer and create a reward system. Visit the library's website for themed reading lists or join a virtual book club for discussions and shared experiences.
  

• Audiobooks on the Go: Make long car rides or downtime more enriching with audiobooks. Discuss the story, characters, and plot to enhance comprehension.
  

• Read Aloud Together: Even older children benefit from shared reading experiences. Pick a book you can both enjoy and discuss themes, writing styles, and vocabulary.
